Volunteers from our 3 churches are encouraged to get involved with foodbanks operating in Thame and Aylesbury. There are opportunities to donate food, help in the warehouse, pack food parcels, and then distribute them. Contact the vicar, Rev. Richard Phillips – 01844 208987 reverend.richard.phillips@gmail.com.

Thomley
A place for people of all abilities and disabilities. Thomley is a place to play, have fun, socialise and learn to live. We welcome disabled people of all ages from babies to adults, and their families, carers or friends. We support people at any stage of their diagnostic journey, whatever their additional needs.
Chearsley
The Chearsley PCC have chosen one local charity and one international charity to support this year.
Lindendgate
Lindengate is a mental health charity that uses the healing power of nature and the outdoors to improve mental wellbeing, boost self-esteem & social inclusion and encourage long-term recovery for people with a wide range of mental health needs including anxiety, depression, loneliness as well as for people with autism, dementia and head injury.
The charity operates from a 5-acre site in south Buckinghamshire. They offer gardening, conservation, horticulture, craft and construction activities that enable users to spend time in a managed and calm environment, either singly or in small groups, reducing their isolation and working towards their recovery.
Embrace the Middle East
Embrace the Middle East is a Christian charity with over 160 years’ experience helping people of all faiths and none to free themselves from a life of poverty and injustice.
Together with local Christian communities they are bringing lasting change to the Middle East through healthcare, education and community development projects.
Faith in Action is their strategy that outlines how they will build stronger relationships with their Christian partners, expand into new countries, help more disadvantaged people, challenge poverty and injustice and inspire churches, volunteers and supporters.
