Prayer points for January

  Prayer is the foundation of all we do in our daily lives as well as in our church life - after all, a relationship thrives on communication! As we pray throughout the month - on our own, in small groups, and at services - can I invite us to pray for these particular people:  In our three churches, giving thanks for the many volunteers who assist with our Sunday worship: setting up and putting away; caring for the linen; welcoming; reading and leading prayers; and cooking and serving refreshments.   In our three villages, praying for our local shops and services, for a fair return on all their hard work as they serve us....

Messy Church – 13th January

  Sunday 13th January 2019, 4:00 pm, Messy Church, Chearsley Village Hall.   As we start a new year we will be looking at the story of Creation.   Make an erupting volcano, sew a soft toy fish, invent a junk model animal, make your own dinosaur excavation kit or plant a grass seed human.   Then work your brain on a quiz all about our amazing planet, watch a drama and enjoy a hot meal while chatting with friends old and new....
